Translation Services
Project Cancellation
- A confirmed project may only be cancelled if it has not yet been assigned to a translator. In this case, a 100% refund will be issued.
- Once assigned, cancellation terms may be revised only upon mutual written agreement before approval.
Editing Requests
Clients may request edits under the following conditions:
Replacement of words with synonyms.
Specific word preferences.
Spelling corrections (especially names as per official/legal documents).
Clarification of illegible words.
Editing is available immediately and multiple times.
Since languages often allow multiple sentence structures, translation style may differ from personal preferences. LLT remains open to feedback and discussion and will accommodate edits wherever reasonable. Errors, Omissions, and Incorrect Translation
LLT ensures the highest accuracy and precision in every translation.
If you find any errors, omissions, or mistranslations, you may report them immediately, and our team will take corrective action.
Name spellings or word preferences are not considered errors and are not grounds for refund.
In case of dispute:
- A discussion will be arranged between the customer and translator.
- If needed, an independent translator/reviewer will act as arbitrator.
- If the arbitrator confirms poor quality with no scope of correction, a 100% refund will be issued.
- If proofreading is agreed upon but quality still fails to meet standards, a partial refund will be granted based on the extent of compromise.
- LLT’s liability is limited to either correcting errors or refunding in exceptional cases.
Omissions
LLT follows strict quality checks to ensure no part of the document is left untranslated.
If any section is missing, it will be promptly corrected.
If correction is not possible within the agreed turnaround, a partial refund will be granted for the untranslated portion.
LLT does not accept responsibility for illegible text unless a clear version is provided by the client.
Formatting
If the source formatting was not agreed upon as part of the service, no refund will be granted for formatting differences.
Formatting requests should be discussed and confirmed in advance.
Delivery Delays
LLT maintains a 99.9% record of timely delivery but unforeseen delays may occur.
In such cases, LLT may extend the deadline. If the client refuses an extension:
- A partial refund will be issued after deducting the value of completed work.
Delivery terms and refund conditions may also be individually agreed in writing.
Interpretation Services
Cancellation within 48 hours of assignment: 50% of the total fee will be charged; the remaining refunded.
If interpreter expenses (e.g., airfare, hotel, advance payments) exceed 50% of the total invoice, the higher amount will apply.
Cancellation within 24 hours of assignment: 100% of the fee will be charged; no refund.
If the interpreting assignment is cancelled before or during the event for any reason, no refund will be provided.
Refund conditions may be agreed in advance and must be confirmed in writing via email or WhatsApp.
